Elias began working with the camera at age thirteen. His step-father, Robert Keller, gave him a Canon 10D to "play around" with. After seeing the uniqueness and quality of Elias' photos, it became apparent Elias had a distinct perception of what he saw through the lens.     
When Elias was fifteen, he won first place at The Largo Library Youth Photography contest with his photo titled M&M's. Elias enjoys Landscape, Nature and Animal photography which coincides with his affinity of the outdoors.
Elias earned a certificate in Nature and Landscape Photography and a Travel Photography certificate from The New York Institute of Photography (NYIP).
